What Is Teflon Wire?
Electric wires made of polytetrafluoroethylene (fluororesin) as the insulating layer can be used at high temperatures of 105 to 300°C depending on the resin material, and can maintain the inherent characteristics of the electric wire even in extremely low temperature environments of minus 150°C.
Feature and Application:
TYPE |
MAX
temperature
|
Feature | Application |
PTFE | 290-300°C |
1. Low coefficient of friction 2. Good wear resistance 3. Good chemical stability 4.Corrosion resistance |
Accounting for about 70% of the total output of fluoroplastics, they are used in many fields such as chemical industry, machinery, electrical appliances, construction, electronics, automobiles, etc. |
PFA | 260°C |
1. High temperature resistance 2. Good anti-sticking property 3. Corrosion resistance |
Widely used in the semiconductor industry, as well as medical, chemical anti-corrosion, automotive and other fields |
FEP | 200°C |
1. Non-porous film 2. Good non-stick property 3. Good chemical stability |
Communication cables, wires, semiconductors, chemical anticorrosion, medical materials, automobiles, industrial coatings and other field |
ETFE | 150°C |
1. Durability 2. Strong rigidity and toughness 3. Good chemical resistance 4.toughness |
Industrial wires and cables, atomic reactor cables and vehicle wires and parts, industrial coatings, etc |
