Reasons and solutions for poor ink printing on wire cable

What is ink printing machine?

Mainly used for surface printing of wires and cables, PVC soft and hard tubes, PU tubes, nylon tubes, heat shrink tubes and other extruded materials with extruders

Common causes and solutions for poor printing

1.Printing watermark:

1) The water has not dried: adjust the air blowing port to keep the thread dry

2) The ink is too light: adjust the ink according to the operating standards

Remark：If the printing wheel scale is too deep, it will also cause floating watermarks, the ink will be thickened, and the scraper will be tight

1. Incomplete printing:

1) The crimping wheel is not adjusted properly. Adjust the crimping wheel and guide wheel position.

2) Unstable tension of the pay-off rack: Adjust to a suitable and stable tension.

3) Wear of the printing wheel: Replace the printing wheel.

2. Printing strip:

1) scraper worn, replace scraper

2) Ink too thick: re-mix ink according to company standards

3) Printing wheel worn: replace printing wheel

4) The distance between agitator and printing wheel is too far: adjust the position of agitator and printing wheel

3. Flying ink:

1) flat sheet without sandwich, re-adjust lug

2) Ink too thick: re-mix ink according to standards

3) Printing wheel also damaged: replace new printing wheel

4) Dry ink (thicker) on the edge of printing wheel: stop machine, clean printing wheel and reuse

4. Printing is blurred and deformed

1) There is water in ink: re-mix ink

2) Ink too thick: re-mix ink according to standards

3) Printing machine shaft is too tight: repair printing machine

4) Scraper too tight: adjust scraper tightness

5) Printing wheel and agitator clamp too tightly: adjust the distance between printing wheel and agitator

6) The thread body is dirty with oil: remove oil and water in air compressor

6. No printing

1) The ink stirring wheel does not rotate, check and repair the circuit

2) The ink position in the ink tank is too low, add ink (2/3)

3) The ink is too light, re-adjust the ink according to the standard

4) The wire is not placed directly above the printing wheel, adjust the position of the wire pressing wheel and the guide wheel

7.Printing and copying

1) caused by problems with the ink itself, cooling discomfort and too tight packaging.

2) For all outer sheath wires, use the company's designated ink.

3) When extruding, the wire passes through a double-layer water tank, causing water to be released in the machine, and the entire roll of wire is loosened after packaging.
